BRIDGE FOR BEGINNERS

Instructor: Rita Fortier 

Learn the basics of playing bridge, a fun (social!) four player card game that, once learned, can be taken up everywhere (locally and online).  It’s engaging and stimulating for your brain!

GUITAR CHOIR

Convenors: Ken Wilson  and Stephan Beardwood

An inclusive gathering of guitar players (ranging from beginners to experienced guitarists) that enjoy shared learning of popular songs and performing together in class.  Occasionally some of the group volunteer to perform at local functions.

LINE DANCING

Instructor: Suzanne St. Pierre      

Learn the popular pastime of line-dancing, a fun and social activity for everyone centred on simple synchronized steps and choreographed routines. Nothing complicated, no partners needed, just lots of fun for everyone!

STEP BY STEP

Instructor: Kevin Quinn and Suzanne St. Pierre

This friendly, no-pressure class introduces a variety of dances including waltz, foxtrot, swing and more.  You don’t need a partner or prior experience to sign up, as each session includes clear instruction, gentle practice and time to laugh and dance together.

TRAVEL EXCHANGE

Join the Travel Exchange for a an armchair journey around the world! Learn about the history and beauty of other countries as GSA members share their own travel adventures. We’ll start in Russia with a river cruise from Moscow to St Petersburg and see where we go from there! All aboard!
